What happens when you can’t say goodbye?
There will always be a piece of you missing.
You will replay that last conversation repeatedly.
Why did I say it that way, what could I have said differently?
When a loved ones goes missing, there are so many loose ends, We question ourselves, we blame ourselves.
We ask a thousand times why?
If we were able to say goodbye we would have closure, if we could say goodbye, we wouldn’t feel so bad, so empty, so lonely.
When you have a death there’s closure. When you throw something away, that’s closure; but when they just disappear, without a trace, no note, no sound, nothing – there’s just questions, there’s that emptiness.
You don’t want to leave in case they come home. You don’t want to experience life, because you wanted to do it with them. If fact, you want everything to stop , so you can start again.
